Our aim is to provide safe, clean and comfortable homes that families can settle into for the long term.
Our Overview
Founded Property is a family business that focuses on delivering an outstanding service and offering great value.
We have a track record of transforming properties into wonderful homes (see here and here) that not only provide their new tenants with great places to live, but that also produce strong and secure returns for our investors.
A critical factor to our success is our great team of experienced professionals which support us on all of our projects. We are able to draw on a wealth of experience to minimise the risks, and provide the best possible outcomes for all involved.
Our Process - How it Works
We like to have an informal chat over the phone, or over a coffee, to get to know each other a bit. We like to try to understand people’s objectives and discuss opportunities where we might be able to help.
You’d be welcome to visit one of our live projects to get a feel for what we do - to see if it is something you might like to be a part of.
If you agree, we would like to let you know when a potential project becomes available.
Once totally happy, to ensure everything is done decently and in order, an agreement is discussed, drawn up and signed.
Dependent upon the project, your funds are then either transferred to us, or our solicitors, and the same is confirmed with a receipt.
The funds are then invested into the chosen project, and together, we begin to create a new home, for a new family. Throughout the duration of the project we provide you with regular updates to keep you informed.
When your project is nearing its conclusion, we ask if you would like the opportunity to discuss what you might like to do next.
The project completes - and your original funds are returned, along with the interest you have earned.
We have borrowed money to cover purchasing property, associated costs (for instance legal fees) and the costs for refurbishment.
We have a 100% track record of repaying all of our investors back in full, together with the agreed amount of interest earned. It is a statistic we are proud of, and will continue to maintain. In fact to date, each investor we have worked with, has wished to reintroduce their funds back into another project - so we must be doing something right!

Our success is predicated on the belief that at every stage, ‘Property’, is fundamentally far more about people, than is it about materials.
Our clients, and the families we care for as tenants, are incredibly important to us, and we wish to assist them for the long-term. We operate a ‘do what is right by them’ principle.
Throughout the entire process, we aim to demonstrate rock-sold integrity, respect and ethical excellence.
Our Name
So why the name Founded Property?
The word ‘Founded’ has a dual definition: ‘discovered’ or ‘found’, as well as ‘grounded’ or ‘established’.
Our name encapsulates both of these fascets:
Our aim is to find property opportunities that will be both profitable and suitable to hold for the long-term - (they must satisfy six, property-related investing fundamentals) and
We like the metaphor of the story of the wise man whose house didn’t fall, when the rain fell and the floods rose, because his house was founded upon a rock.
Our Founders
Founded Property was established by experienced property investors, husband and wife team, Joshua and Rebekah Harrison. Two people with a shared vision and passion for helping others.
We began investing in 2017 to supplement our pensions. At the time, Joshua was a Maths Specialist Teacher (MaST) working in an OfSTED-rated ‘Outstanding’ school, and Rebekah was a Chartered Accountant (ACA MAAT).
From the outset, as parents ourselves, we knew we wanted to focus on providing great homes for other families. As we progressed, we found people who shared our vision and values, and who also wanted a greater, secured, return on their money, but without owning property themselves. And so the model of private borrowing to help us help other families, was born.
And so now, with our investors, we create homes together.
